How paying works
- How can I pay?
- In Uganda, with mobile money or a card, in shillings: 50,000 UGX a month or 570,000 UGX a year. Anywhere else, by card, in dollars: 13.10 USD a month or 149.34 USD a year. Payments are handled by Flutterwave on their own secure page; your card or mobile money details are never entered on or stored by VoxSign.
- Are there any fees on top?
- Yes. The price is for Premium itself and goes to VoxSign. Flutterwave charges a transaction fee for processing the payment, which depends on how you pay. Before you leave for the payment page, checkout shows the price, the fee and the total separately, and Flutterwave shows the total again before you confirm.
- Will the dollar price change with the exchange rate?
- No. Both prices are fixed. The dollar prices were set once from the shilling prices and do not move when the exchange rate does. If we ever change a price, we will tell you before it applies.
- Does it renew automatically?
- No. Each payment gives you 30 days on the monthly plan or 365 days on the annual plan. We remind you a few days before they end, and if you do not pay again you move back to the Free plan. There is nothing to cancel.
- What if I renew early?
- The new days are added after the days you already have, so you never lose time by paying before the end, and you can switch between monthly and annual whenever you renew.
- My mobile money payment went through but I do not have Premium.
- Mobile money can take a few minutes to confirm, and Premium starts as soon as it does. If it has not after an hour, email info@voxsign.co.ug with the time you paid and the number you paid from.
